Thrashers HAVOK Plot North American Campaign, Hit Burnsville on August 25


Denver thrash band Havok has released details of a 7-1/2 week North American headlining tour to promote their third album, Unnatural Selection, which came out June 25 on Candlelight Records. The tour launches July 20 in Juarez, Mexico, and dates are scheduled through September 10 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Support will come from local bands on most dates, including their August 25 date at The Garage in Burnsville, Minnesota with Deretla, Pandemic Inc., Lilith, and Reaper; tickets are on sale now through Ticketfly.

WRETCHED Announces Fall Headlining Tour, Stops In St. Paul And St. Cloud

Immediately following their tour as support to The Antagonist, Victory Records death metal band Wretched embarks the next day on a headline tour of the US with Candlelight Records recording artist Havok from Denver, and Armed For Apocalypse. From Charlotte, North Carolina, Wretched recently released their second album, Beyond The Gate. Havok joins the tour a couple days late after they open for Anthrax on October 18 in Denver. California's Armed For Apocalypse had their debut album Defeat released through Iron Clad/Metal Blade. In addition to a stop in St. Paul on Tuesday, November 2 at The Space, there's a date in nearby St. Cloud, Minnesota on Friday, October 29 at The Rox Bar.

SwordLord Announcements And Promotions

Some changes to SwordLord-promoted shows have recently been made, along with some ticket promotions.
First, the complete support bill for Primal Fear on Sunday, May 30 at Station 4 in St. Paul has been finalized in light of Luna Mortis's cancellation due to breaking up. Support acts are now Avian, Havok, and Dawn Of Valor.
Next, Avian has announced that they have been forced to drop off the bill with Cage on Wednesday, June 23 at The Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis. Thanks to individual that posted a comment below that brought this to my attention! Replacing Avian is Dawn Of Valor, The Angle Obscure, and Avalon. Bring your ticket stub from the April 12 Sonata Arctica or May 30 Primal Fear show and admission is free! Otherwise, tickets for Cage are $8 in advance or at the door.
