Twin Cities Metal is dedicated to promoting live metal and hard rock in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Here you will find news, reviews, and photography of bands that play in the Twin Cities.
Ray from Cinema Purgatorio, an independent film distribution company handling the Disturbed documentary Decade Of Disturbed, sent me a kind note yesterday about the recent post regarding the Disturbed movie screening taking place at the St. Anthony Main Theatre on Friday, August 27 in Minneapolis at 9:30 pm. He provided complete ticket details for this event that are worth passing along. The event is free and no tickets are required, although seating will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Promotions for confirmed seats will be done by 93X radio, Minnesota Film Arts, and others. If you do not have a confirmed seat through one of the promotions, arrive at the theatre early for the best chance to gain admission. Cinema Purgatorio does a lot of cool things, so if you're interested in independent films and film/DVD distribution head on over to their website to learn more. During the next week I'll post some live photos and pictures from a photoshoot done with Disturbed soon after they released their debut album, The Sickness.

For a few years I published a metal/hard rock magazine that was distributed nationally through Desert Moon Distribution, Hot Topic, Tower Records, and Virgin Megastores. My real career took all my time so I ceased publication of the magazine.
Artists I have interviewed include Iron Maiden, Dio, Slipknot, Korn, Pantera, Danzig, Halford, David Coverdale, Incubus, and many, many others.
Bands I have photographed in a variety of settings (photoshoots, stadiums, arenas, clubs) include AC/DC, Metallica, Disturbed, Slipknot, Slash's Snakepit, Korn, Kid Rock, Machine Head, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Dio, Pantera, Staind, Danzig, and dozens of others!
