The new self-titled album from Minneapolis band Cold Colours was released digitally by Sleaszy Rider Records exclusively through the band’s Bandcamp page on April 2. Everyone who purchases the digital release will also receive a physical copy of the CD (postage paid) when it is released in June. You can also stream the entire album for free at the Cold Colours Bandcamp page. Cold Colours was recorded at 14:59 Studios in Minneapolis and mastered by Swedish wizard Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios. The band also recently finished shooting a video on April for “This Devotion” from the new album.

THE CONTORTIONIST Guitarist Reveals Summer and Fall Plans

I briefly spoke with The Contortionist guitarist Robby Baca following their show last night in St. Paul about the band's near-future plans. Once the touring cycle for Intrinsic with temporary vocalist Mike Lessard from Last Chance To Reason wraps up in May, the band will begin their search for a new singer in earnest and work on writing. After spending the summer working on the next album, The Contortionist plans to hit the road again in September. Hopefully this means we'll see a new album before the end of the year.

Look for a full recap soon of the The Contortionist's show at Station 4 with Within The Ruins, I Declare War, Reflections, Don't Worry I'm A Doctor, and From Concept To Chronicle.
