It's unfortunate that when you mention hardcore bands, most people seem to think you're speaking of lame metalcore bands. Nails is a cool California hardcore band in the traditional sense of the genre, and Southern Lord Records will be re-issuing their latest album, Unsilent Death, on CD and releasing their next album early next year. The press release touts their similarity to late-90's Amphetamine Reptile bands such as Today Is The Day, Helmet, and Unsane, so how cool is that? Nails embarks on a lengthy North American tour in a couple days, and a date has been added in Minneapolis on Sunday, October 3 at The Beat Coffehouse in Uptown.
