Minneapolis' power metal kings Avian has announced plans on their website to release a five-song EP this Fall that will feature a both new and acoustic songs. This will be followed by the band's third full-length album in early 2011.
A couple new songs will be played at upcoming shows. Avian will be supporting Primal Fear with Dawn Of Valor and Havok (replacing Luna Mortis) at Station 4 in St. Paul on Sunday, May 30. Their next show will be a co-headliner with San Diego's mighty Cage at The Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis on Wednesday, June 23.
You can also check out vocalist Lance King in his cover band project, Decibel, which plays regularly throughout the metro area. Decibel's next show is tonight at Primetime in Burnsville.
AVIAN will NOT be performing with CAGE on 6/23 due to scheduling conflicts.
